Dry Brush

Similar to traditional paintbrush application, except that the brush is kept dry with a minimal amount of dye. This technique can be used in both large or small areas depending on the size of the brush.

Paintbrush

Traditional method of application typically used for smaller or more detailed areas. When using paint, often times it is better to a thinner coat of paint with multiple layers to achieve a more consistent coverage, and to reduce streaks or globs. This technique can be used with dyes or paints.

Airbrush

Sponge Dye

Dye is applied using a natural sponge to give a textured look that has a variety of shades. It can also be used with multiple colors, blended, or a gradient fade.

Dip Dye

Leather is dipped directly into a container of leather dye for a solid even color.
