My name is Bianca Wylie. I'm a 100% service-connected disabled United States Marine Corps veteran, a single mother, and a self-taught Leathersmith. I hold two bachelor degrees. The first is in Environment & Character Design from the Los Angeles Film School. The second is in Business Administration with a focus on Management from California State University San Marcos. I also hold two associate degrees. One in Accounting from Mira Costa College. The other in Computer Networking from Gibbs College. I also graduated from Bellus Academy in Poway as a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) and Massage Therapist, with a Level 1: Wellness for Cancer Certification. 

 

Previously I owned & operated Live Good Integrative Health and Wellness Massage, founded in 2016. It was a very successful therapeutic massage and spa company that I built from the ground up. After the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was forced to close my business permanently. It seemed like a good time to sell my house, so we moved from California to South Carolina to be closer to my mother.

I became interested in leatherwork during the pandemic as a way to calm my mind. It gave me the the peace and focus I was looking for. My interest in leatherwork quickly developed into a passion, and that passion ended up leading me to make major business decisions! I founded Live Good Luxury Leather LLC in 2022. I absolutely love what I do! I am so happy to have found something that I truly enjoy.

I use leatherwork as a way to positively engage with my local community, as well as a way to benefit local youth. I teach free leatherworking classes for local Boy Scout packs, military veterans, and children living in group homes through a collaboration with Caleb's Dragonfly Dreams, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Find out more information on how you can help at calebsdragonflydreams.org.
